I was reminded the other day that as adults we have a problem. Whenever we want to learn something new we jump into full force and tend to get overwhelmed very quickly. When it comes to making money on the internet it is especially bad. There is so much information available, that it is very easy to get overwhelmed. Because we have the tendancy to want to know everything, we quickly do nothing.

Consider how a child learns how to walk. They do not go from laying dormant, to jumping up and running a marathon. They learn to roll, then balance on their knees, then crawl, then stand up with support... You get the idea. It is a process.

Learning to make money on the internet is very similar. You need to go through a process to learn how to become a good marketer. Any body who has started a home-based business will quickly realize that there is a lot to learn, some things you may learn quickly and others may take some time.

The ultimate goal as a new internet marketer, is to start with what you know. If you have the ability to write, then write to promote your new venture. If you can create great landing pages, then use that. Everyone has a talent coming into their business, and you want to draw on that knowledge to start your business growing.

As you become more comfortable with other aspects of internet marketing then you can add it into your schedule. But do not try to do everything at once, all that will happen is you will lay dormant. all of your time will be spent trying to learn everything, and no time will be spent promoting your business to make money.

For many people, operating a new internet business is like a baby learning to walk. You need to take your time, and take baby steps, as you gain confidence you will start to make money on the internet. But, the same as a baby learning to walk, it will not happen overnight. Be patient, get your stability, and learning to make money on the internet will happen.
