So, it happened you started your online business, your excited about the potential of making some money from home. You sit down at your computer and start going through all of the information you have been sent and the next thing you know is you have no idea where to start.
The first thing you encountered was a whole new foreign language.
SEO, HTML,
Url, FTP,
IP, a
list of lingo and words that you have no clue what they are. How in the world do you operate in a business when you have no idea what they are
saying half of the time?
Second, you are told to blog. Your reaction what is a blog? I've heard of a bog, that's what I'm in right now. A little looking around and you discover it is where you tell people stuff. What stuff? Well, your thoughts, or articles you have written, ideas are generally shared. Can you share ideas when you feel you don't have one? Yes, it is possible, you can share how you feel as a new business online.
Third, you are told to advertise. Where, how much will it cost are your first thoughts. Then it hits you that you can't advertise if you don't know what you are doing. In fact you can. Look at what others have done. The beauty of the
Internet is it is full of tips and advice if you know where to look. Find a forum, there are a lot of people who are more than willing to help you with your business as long as you ask. You can find out how to write an Ad, and free (yes, I said free) places to put them.
Fourth, you need to write an article? Wait, not one but several a week! WHAT! How in the world do you write an article when you are barely keeping your head out of water? Plus, what do you say? You can just keep up with that blog thing let alone have more
writing to do. Well, guess what, your article can come from your blog. Look at what you say there and expand if you need to, but generally your ideas, thoughts, feelings can all be put into an article that has meaning.
Anew business can be intimidating, but if you write out a plan of what you need to do and a schedule for each thing. You will quickly find out it is not that hard. Follow your plan, ask for help, and slowly it all comes together in a very nice, and profitable business from your home.
